The members of the research network represent research based on the views of Mikhail Bakhtin, Valentin Voloshinov, Lev Vygosky and A.N. Leontiev, which in its current forms covers various fields of language research. The research network meets once a year in a meeting at the AFinLA Autumn Symposium. The forms of activities include organising workshops and research symposia for congresses, publishing, research cooperation and creating connections between Finnish and international researchers in applied linguistics.
