AFinLA encourages its members to take part in the AILA Junior Researcher Meeting by offering travel grants to members, who currently do not have working contracts with their affiliate universities. Only AFinLA members who present (paper or poster) at the conference may apply for the travel grant.
To apply for the travel grant, please send an estimate of costs to by May 4, 2018. The expenses must be reasonable and related to the AILA JRM participation fee, travel, and/or accommodation. The expenses may mount up to 450 euros, depending on travel expenses within Finland. Applicants will receive notification of the decisions by email during May 2018. Names of the recipients and the sums awarded will also be published on the AFinLA website. The travel grant will be paid to applicants after the event in exchange for the receipts.
