AFinLA publishes two peer-reviewed publication series: AFinLA Yearbook and the thematic publication AFinLA-teema. From 2015 onwards, both series can be freely accessed online.

On these sub-pages, you can find information about AFinLA publications prior to 2015 as well as guidelines for manuscript preparation for AFinLA series.

The association's policy on archiving publications in parallel repositories

Authors are allowed to publish their AFinLA Yearbook or AFinLA-teema article in their own university's institutional Open Access repository.

AFinLA

The Finnish Association for Applied Linguistics, AFinLA, is an affiliate member organisation of the International Association for Applied Linguistics (AILA). AFinLA organises an annual Autumn Symposium, publishes two peer-reviewed publication series and provides information about research and events in applied linguistics in Finland and abroad. Applied linguistics studies linguistic activity from the perspectives of individuals, communities and societies based on multidisciplinary and social reality.
